Prambanan Temple
Prambanan Temple is one of the UNESCO heritage site in Yogyakarta which is dedicated to 3 Hindu Gods namely - Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma. The place was magnificent and spacious.

Abhayagiri Restaurant
Decent lunch buffet spread at Abhayagiri Restaurant. Foodcarts serving fresh food such as beef stew, meatball soup, churros and pasta enhanced the overall lunch experience.

Malioboro Shopping Street
After lunch, we made our way to the most popular shopping district in Jogja - Malioboro Street.
Tip: Always bargain before you commit a purchase and make sure you know the market price of the item so that you won't get scammed. Most of the stalls are selling the similar items so just ask your way down the street to get a good estimate of those prices.

Taman Sari
Taman Sari a.k.a water castle is a former royal garden of Sultanate of Jogja. Expect to bump into shops and houses as you make your way to the water palace

Kalibiru National Park
Kalibiru National Park is one of the popular photo spot due to the mountainous backdrop. There are quite number of platform spots to choose from and for some who would like to try something more adventurous can go for bicycle and canoe boats hanging in mid-air.
Each photo spot requires a ticket and they have a designated photographer to help you take the best angle and exposure.
The photos are transferred to your device in softcopies and cost me 4K per photo. It is non obligatory to use their camera so you can pass them your camera and have your shots taken at no cost. (We did this and our camera was a disappointment)
In case you're hungry, there are shops selling drinks and food (Indomie goreng etc) at 7K.
We had a quick lunch at local place for Nasi Padang before visiting Borobudur. (I did not took down the name of place #regret)

Borobudur Buddhist Temple
Borobudur is the world's largest buddhist temple and has also earned a spot as UNESCO world heritage site.
The compound has a pyramid-like structure and visitors who would like to offer respect would encircle the structure 3 times in clockwise manner.
Note: There is a package available for tourist to catch sunrise. Be prepared to leave your hotel at 4am. We did not bought sunrise package

Alun Alun Kidul
We ended our day with a pedal ride at Alun Alun. The place is like Pasar Malam we have here in Singapore but on a much smaller scale. People usually go there for the pedal-powered vehicles that comes with LEDs and music. You can find food stalls and makeshift carts that sells toys and games.
There are two giant trees and it is said only individuals with 'strong' heart will be able to pass between the trees blind-folded.

Yogyakarta Day 3
Jomblang Cave
We left hotel at 7am and it took us around 90 mins by car outside of the city to Jomblang Cave. We picked our rubber boots, made payment and waited for rest of the group to be ready before putting on helmet and harness.
Entrance to the cave begins with a 30 meter descent with harness and pulley system. The 350m walk into the cave will bring us to the 'heavens light'. The best time to visit the place is between 10am - 11am. If you're visiting jogja and not visiting this, I don't know what you're here for
Tip: Reach there early as there is maximum entry quota of 80 people per day
