One of the popular stretches of cafe and bars can be found inside Seletar Aerospace Park. The aerospace hub not only houses big names such as Pratt & Whitney, Airbus and Rolls Royce but is also home to a couple gourmet food and bar. It’s easily one of the romantic places to bring your date for a great dinner and ambience.
I heard the Wildseed Bar @ Summerhouse was a popular spot so I decided to head there for a Friday night dinner. The place can be difficult to reach via public transport.
The Mojito was refreshing with the right amount of mint. For a tropical weather like this here in Singapore, one could always use a mojito anytime.
The buffalo wings were really good especially with a twist of asian sambal mayo. The crispy and juicy mid wings is really addictive, I would really recommend that you order this if you’re fan of hot wings. Heck if you’re fan of mid wings, you have to give this a try. The pizza on the other hand was a tad mediocre. Perhaps i’m not a fan of seafood pizza but it just doesn’t really stand out.
In general, I feel the food prices over here are a little elevated and it seems to be the same across different restaurants too. I wonder if its due to the location. Overall, I think this is a great place for a date or group hangout (so that you can try a variety of food), so its definitely worth a visit.
