I chanced upon this place while searching for brunch places that are kids-friendly. I’ve never been to a farm to table restaurant much less one in a land-scared urban city like Singapore. I must say it was quite an eye opener for me and the sight of arrays of vegetation was actually quite therapeutic.
One of the reasons I suppose why this pops up as a kid friendly place could be the play area and sand-pit but these places were off-limits when I visited probably due to COVID measures
We decided to go all decadent since it has been quite a long time since we dine out for brunch and so we ordered the soft shell burger and the smoked salmon with toasted focaccia and ricotta.
I thought the salad was really good (especially when i’m not a fan of salad). It was super fresh and crunchy, with right amount of dressing. The vinaigrette warms the appetite for more food!
The smoked salmon was also pretty good and pairing this with the fluffy bread, you will get a mouthful of flavours. The beverages were pretty okay, i’ve had better mocha and milkshakes.
It seems like most people actually drink there so perhaps the main kick is in the alcohol
I think this place is worth a visit especially if you have not dine at a farm-to-table concept restaurant. Also, you could take a short walk around the farm and take some for the gram.
If you’re still up for burning additional calories, the Singapore Botanical Gardens is just a stone throw away!
